Wherever I am at the moment in the natural or man-made world around me, if I feel something strongly enough I will try to capture it. I find the freedom of the camera is what most attracts me to photography. Being able to capture a moment any time and any where is an incredible feeling to me. I also find the constraints of the camera to be the challenge that keeps me motivated. I have been a practicing graphic designer and art director for 14 years and have had a love of photography for as long as I can remember. I am a graduate of Northern Illinois University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts. At NIU I studied Visual Communication: Graphic Design and Photography. Any success I have had as a photographer I share with my wife Kelene. It has only been with her support and encouragement that I have been able to continue on this very cool journey. I can never say thank you to her enough for coming along.
